Dr. Aman Suman

Consultant Psychiatrist

Dr A Suman is a Consultant Psychiatrist with extensive experience in

Dr A Suman has extensive clinical experience of more than 15 yrs., working in varied clinical settings in UK and Australia. He is a fully accredited member of Royal College of Psychiatrist UK (MRCPysch) and a Fellow of Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrist (FRANZCP).

Dr A Suman is also a qualified forensic psychiatrist (Cert Forensic Psych). He has previously worked as a staff specialist with Justice and Forensic Mental Health Network at various correctional centres across Sydney. He continues to provide medico-legal reports in criminal and civil matters.

Dr A Suman is currently working as a Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) for Older Person Community Mental Health Team (OPCMHT), Nepean and Blue-Mountain Local Health District (NBMLHD). His areas of interest include assessment and management of Dementia & mood disorders in Elderly population. 

In addition to his current role as a VMO, Dr A Suman provides private consultations in his clinic in Penrith. He also provides medicolegal reports via consultations at Penrith, Parramatta, and Sydney CBD. In addition to above, he also provides telehealth assessments /consultations 
in medicolegal matters for individuals based in other Australian cities and regional areas.

Dr A Suman offers private outpatient consultations in his Penrith Clinic, for individuals (aged 18 yrs. and over) struggling with varied complex mental health issues. He also provides clinical review and treatment for individuals receiving treatment under Work-Cover arrangement.

Medico legal Inquiries

Dr A Suman offers private consultation at his Penrith clinic for medico-legal reporting matters. He could also offer telehealth assessment as well as travel to another location i.e., other cities or regional areas, for medico-legal reporting matters, subject to his availability.

  • Reports for entry to Australian Defense force, NSW Police Force and Australian Federal Police
