Dr. Raj Singh has been working as a Consultant Psychiatrist at Penrith Ophthalmology and Psychiatry Center since September 2016. He was awarded Fellowship of Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) in 2011, in addition to his specialist psychiatrist qualifications (MD, Psychiatry) from India in 2001. Dr. Singh has over fifteen years of practicing experience as a psychiatrist, since completing his general and advanced adult residency psychiatry fellowship training.

Dr. Singh worked in senior clinical & executive roles at Nepean Hospital in Kingswood for more than six years prior to joining to our practice last year. He has previously held the position of Medical Director in Department of Psychiatry for the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District and continues to maintain his part time role as Senior Staff Specialist there. Dr. Singh currently chairs the local ECT Committee and holds an ongoing supervisory role for the psychiatry training registrars and resident    medical officers at Nepean Hospital.

Dr. Singh has enjoyed working in several diverse clinical settings with a broad scope of patient populations, mainly involving adult and geriatric psychiatry. He is now focusing his clinical work on mood and anxiety disorders, psychosis, and trauma-related disorders.
